Our History

Mr. Andy began his foray into the world of car sales in 1986, as a salesman for a Mazda dealership for the British Forces. By 1989, Andys Motors was established, starting with the sale of brand new Mitsubishi cars to the RAF Akrotiri, Episkopi, and Troodos Sovereign Base Areas. This earned the company the ‘Mitsubishi Dealer of the Year’ award for two consecutive years, in 1991 and 1992. By 1995, Andys Motors became the first dealer on the island to import used cars from Japan. From 1998 until 2002, Mr. Andy held the positions of President of the Limassol branch of the Used Car Dealers Association Committee, and Vice President for all of Cyprus.


Over the years, Andys Motors has established a loyal clientele by offering a large variety of both new and used cars, as well as new models of exclusive brands Proton, Hummer, and Cadillac. With more than 25 years of experience, the company has gained the trust of both the British Forces personnel located in Cyprus, and the British Expat Community, as well as the local market.


Since its establishment in 1989, Andys Motors has been the go-to car dealership for the British Forces and the British Expat Community. The company has proudly and loyally served these two markets, as well as the local community, for the past three decades.

We pride ourselves on being able to accommodate all our customers’ automotive needs. Every purchase of a quality used car comes with a full package that includes a warranty for a specific amount of time, valid Road Tax, and valid MOT for a maximum of two years, for our customers’ peace of mind.


Andys Motors ensures that all cars are carefully checked before purchase and kept in pristine condition. We also make sure that we perform regular mechanical service on all our vehicles to guarantee safety and quality driving.

One Stop Shop

Our clients’ relationship with our team does not end with the purchase or hiring of a vehicle. As well as car sales and car rentals, Andys Motors also offers a range of value added services to its customers by anticipating their every need.


For our clients in the British Forces, this means offering numerous options for buying, renting or leasing a vehicle, as well as assistance with registering their own vehicles in Cyprus and providing MOT inspection, thus taking care of all our drivers’ motoring needs during their entire stay in Cyprus. As a courtesy to our military customers, our company does not charge extra agency fees for any of the services offered.

Andys Motors actively supports the local community, and is a strong advocate of wellness, sportsmanship, and engaging with and giving back to the local community. Over the years, we have contributed through charitable donations, sponsorships, and organizing charity events.

  • Sponsorship of local Limassol teams Apollon F.C., AEL F.C., and Apollon Volleyball Club
  • Yearly sponsorship of the British Forces ‘Drive Safe Week’ campaign
  • Support for the non-profit organization Dance Cyprus via a fundraising gala dinner sponsorship at the Episkopi Sovereign Base Area
  • Sponsorship of the RAF Annual Rugby League
  • Sponsorship of Bay 2 Bay Swim, a fundraising swimming event in Episkopi Sovereign Base Area
  • Continuous support for the Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Heart Disease
